About Us

We are an alternative practice focused on complex or serious health issues that are not well served by modern Western medicine. These conditions include cancers, autoimmune disease such as MS, neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimers and ALS, Long COVID, infertility etc. The practice was founded in 1997 by Dr. Raymond Chang and clinical consultations are provided by a core of international experts. The clinic is an affiliate of the 501(c)(3) non-profit Institute of East-West Medicine and also in partnership with the Institute of Cell Therapy lead by Dr. Thomas & Jan Nesselhuts and Professor Fred Fandrich in Germany. We emphasize an out of the box approach to conditions refractory or poorly responsive to standard cookie-cutter medicine. Contrary to the current trends of protocol based “cafeteria” treatments, we specialize in empowering patients with evidenced-based options and advise on a broad range of repurposed, investigational and alternative therapies. We offer second opinions, case reviews, literature and clinical trial search services, and virtual consultations. We welcome international consultations and refer internationally. Our group truly considers each patient wholistically to tailor personal treatment programs blending conventional and alternative, Eastern as well as Western approaches with the patient’s optimal health and recovery in mind.
